is this or the C6 (or their equivalent schwinns?) better if i don't want to use the membership in the long run?

can you use the screen without paying for JRNY?

This is the same bike as the Schwinn C4 and the Bowflex C6 except that it comes with a 7 " android based monitor. It come with dual sided pedals one side has SPD clips the other has toe clips for normal shoes. It come with an optical heart rate monitor. It has a free 1 year JRNY subscription that looks nice but I have read it may be difficult to unsubscribe from. I use the bike with the Peleton app that gives me an metirc based on age, HR and effort. It is not the full Peleton experience with leader board. The bike also works with Zwift and other apps that will provide power numbers. There are 100 points of resistance and it uses magnetic resistance that is low maintenance. The bike is belt driven and smooth to pedal.

You need JRNY for media like Netflix. You do not need JRNY to use Zwift or Peleton apps or just to work out. =

Even happier if it would work with trainer road.

That sucks that you need that for Netflix. But - I guess it's easy to just stick the tablet on the bike, or better yet - park the bike in front of the TV.

Looks like it has very limited availability. Nothing near me but I tried some random cities and found it is available in the Denver area. Maybe there are other areas as well.
