Just bought ten with a Chase card, we'll see what happens. I don't see why I shouldn't be allowed to buy gift cards with my credit card. I don't expect them to give me points for them, but they can't prevent me from buying them.

You should be able to buy money order (Walmart charges only $1 for money orders) and deposit it in your bank account . Most of the banks allow mobile deposit ( just follow the same process which you follow for check deposit) so you don't even need to go to the bank. I got Visa cards from Xfinity and I was able to deposit that to my Wells Fargo account using this method.

I think it's a joke. Terms state max discount $50, so no more than 10 cards would be discounted.

I called in to activate (via automatic prompts), without registering it allowed me to use it in online. Took 3 to 5 minutes for each card.

OK, no chargeback. I read the part about calling the back of the card to activate. It takes about 5 min for each card to call to activate and then register. Thank God I didn't buy that many lol. What a pain.
Just a warning, I activated a card and was going to purchase a $100 Costco cash card with it but somebody had already placed a $99.91 charge on it. I am working on a dispute now. I have purchased multiple $200 visa and master card gift cards from Staples and never had this issue.

I bought 3. I was not able to activate them via the website so I called the number on the back. It took some time but I successfully activate all of them.

After registering the card, stay on the line and press 6 to select a pin. Don't try going through the website...trust me.

Bought (20) of these. Not sure it was worth it. My liquidation strategy for gift cards is generally paying state estimated taxes and then unloading whats left on Amazon.

In this case, $97 to the taxes id have to pay anyways, $2.18 to credit transaction fees, 0.81 into my Amazon account. So $2.18 in profit per card + CC rewards. x20 thats a whopping $56.20 in "profit" + card spend.

The 5% and 10% deals from Giftcards.com earlier in the year were much easier to scale and way less of a hassle. And if the shopping portals kicked in (flakey results) significantly more profitable.

Whats the pin helpful for? Are these usable at ATMs? Didn't seem like it.

After 3 cards, the bank flagged my Amazon loads for fraud, but of course they don't have any way to contact them to get that removed. So I'm sitting on them to pay $100 of my utility bills each month before they hit my regular card.
I can't believe it is legal to have a gift card where they can block your transactions, but don't give you a customer service number to unblock.

This is the worst thing I've ever bought. I got 10 cards. Came in a big envelope containing 10 individual envelopes of cards and letters. The letters say card is active, but I got same error messages when trying to register or lookup information online. Had to call in and go through automated system to activate every card. Process is 3 minutes per card. The first thing the system says after entering information is "Your card is not yet active, please hold while we activate your card."

Never had a problem with Blackhawk issued prepaids before, but this was terrible.
