I assume MM (or the next top tier plan) gets the best trade-in treatment in the future…. While I love my SC, this is a tough one for me…. Headed to Best Buy and Costco in the morn….

I am in the same boat. I have ONE plan with 7 lines for $160 and if I move to MM, it will be $200 per month which is $40 more. However, I have four lines that need to upgrade so total $3400 credit towards new phones with MM plan. Paying $40 more for 2 years (40 x 24months = $960) but the credit I receive is $2440 (3400-960) until the device installments are paid off for new phones... Hopefully BB can do the same deal without bill credit then I don't have to give up my ONE plan but it is actually not too bad moving to MM in my situation I guess..

I looked up to switch from One plan Promo to get to Magenta max its $244 more per month. it doesn't make any sense in switching.
However, do you guys know between BestBuy or Costco or Tmobile upgrade cost would be from IP 12 Pro Max 256 to IP Pro 256gb?

I called them. First CSR was not able to, then the supervisor changed it in a couple minutes. Another good thing that happened for me was my internet plan also got $30/month promotion with MAX instead of $50/month that I was paying.

You are not doing the entire comparison. You forgot about the ONE plan credits, which is half of MAX or $1700.
$2440-$1700= $740
You are come out ahead $740 for this deal in 2 years vs your old ONE plan

same for me ... its just an upgrade value for IP 12 - 50% off promo only. This sucks ... trying to connect to CSR to see if they have any other options
