Well the screen did not break the digitizer under the glass did. Right next to the slight defect by the glass and frame. Not sure if it was a used or a refurbished model, but atleast it broke within a few days of purchase. Woot refunded the money and told me to keep the tablet or donate it. At $20 it's not even worth the time to repair and with a busted digitizer it made the whole thing completely unusable so i could not even wipe it if i wanted to donate it to someone.
YMMV if these refurbs are still on older firmware. Skip the Amazon signup by selecting a Wi-Fi network, then hitting back and cancel. You can turn on dev options/adb
