Hello, I hope you're well.

If you're a Disney+ subscriber, check your email for the chance to receive $150 worth of Disney merchandise for free. Shipping is free; the website states, "Shipping via UPS and currently arriving in 2 to 4 weeks once processed."

The email subject line is "We got you a little something."

After clicking on the link in the email, I am able to choose between three options:
  1. Animated Masterpieces
  2. Disney Adventure
  3. Surprise Me!
Email body text:
Quote :
Claim your Disney Drop box, filled with approximately $150 worth of merch. It's our way of saying thanks for continuing to be the best part of our story.

Must redeem before September 30. While supplies last. Terms apply.*
The fine print reads:
Quote :
Must redeem no later than September 29, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Offer valid while supplies last. Standard shipping at no cost to the address you enter on the Disney Drop website; shipping is limited to U.S. addresses only. One box per household. Disney Drop is non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
I have never heard of Disney Drop, but was able to find DisneyDrop.com, which was registered on 12/14/2020. I'm thinking Disney is trying to do a subscription service of some sort where people can pay to receive a box of assorted Disney merchandise on a regular basis.

Update: I signed up on 09/07/2022, and the delivery is expected to be on 09/20/2022. My package shipped via UPS from "ALTA RESOURCES - BVHE."

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

You're welcome! I'm glad this thread helped you. I get so many email newsletters from Disney that I almost archived this one without checking... lol. I hope my posting helps someone avoid what I almost did. I was pleasantly surprised to find something of actual physical value!

Which of the three boxes did you choose?

Take care,
Tofu Vic

I chose the "Surprise me" option. I figure that way if one or the other was already fully claimed I'll likely still get something.

In for one. Chose the Disney Adventure in case we are planning a trip to DW.

Looks like this is being sent out after people renewed their 1 year disney plus subscriptions. If you received the email, can you confirm whether you have an annual subscription and if it renewed recently? I've been on a month to month so I'm guessing I wouldn't get it even if I get to 12 payments.

Not me, and I'm bummed about it. My subscription is about to expire and I'm looking for deals to renew, if you know any. I really don't want ESPN and the bundle is all that seems to be out there right now.

I'm the person who posted this deal, and the 3-year D23 deal is exactly what I have. I signed up for that deal on 08/27/2019 and the renewal date is set for 11/12/2022; I have not renewed and do not plan to renew unless there's an outstanding deal.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

The sending email looked legit, but then directed to disneydrop.com and was suspicious. Thanks for confirming this is real

I have the 3 year promo from 2019 and got the email. Chose the "surprise me" option. Thanks OP.
I also do not plan on renewing right away. Don't use the service often.
