How is this an unlimited deal when they cap after 20mb?? 😂
It's GB not MB, and they limit data after that.

not sure if it's mentioned here or not, but looks like they totally gouge you on their phones. I bought the 2nd gen iPhone SE (2020 model) for $150 a year ago from total wireless and see it being offered for $99 right now from other carriers. XFinity is asking $350 for it.

The 600kbps cap on hotspot is also ridiculous.

For the past few years I've been using TotalWireless (Verizon MVNO) and we're paying $30 per line (actual final price, not plus taxes, fees, etc. etc.) for 3 lines and a 60gb pool of shared data at full speed, then limited speeds afterwards. We never get anywhere near the 60gb so I don't know what the limited data connection is like. Each phone gets up to 10gb hotspot as well (not capped at gimpy 600k either). My monthly bill averages right at $90/mo..sometimes its a few cents under, sometimes a few cents over.

I did hear recently that Verizon is buying them out and I may have to do something by end of 2024..so not too worried about that.

Anyway...I've got Xfinity internet because it's the best thing going in the area we live in. I just watch my bill for surprise changes and that's when I know to go shopping again for the latest 1 year/2 year contracts. I recently changed my plan which boosted my download speeds 25% and doubled my upload speeds for $15/mo. less per month than I was paying before.

does the $60 (2 lines) include taxes and fees like T-Mobile?

I already have four lines on By the Gig plan for 1GB shared. If I change one line to unlimitted, will the cost be $30 or $20 for that line? Thanks.

Isn't it a free market? Don't like it then speak with your money and take it somewhere else.

I have 5 lines all on 3GB shared plan. After tax my total is $36 for all 5 lines If we all stay under 3GB combined. Usually we buy one gig of extra data per month which puts our bill at $50. What would my bill be if Iconverted 1 of the lines to unlimited and kept the other 4 lines as shared or per gig? would it be cheaper for me to switch? It's usually just one of our lines that spends most of the data. I think with my current plan they don't even charge me Extra for extra lines. One line I have the phone active but turned off Just to have a spare phone because they don't charge me for it, but It looks like with this new plan they charge you per line so I would have to close my extra line to take advantage of this deal. Then, After I close my unactive 5th line,I would have 4 lines , 1 unlimited And the the other 3 per gig for $55 a month is what it sounds like. i like having an extra line active On my current plan free of chargethat way when I had friends visiting from other countries they could use it and it would always be the same phone number. Wonder if it's worth it to give up this convenience. Plus I lose shared data pool Which may occasionally save me from overages

Hi,
I have 3 lines, one line is unlimited plan which I pay $45 and 2 lines share 1 gig which I pay $15.
I want to check if I update my plan, the line with unlimited plan will be $30.
Can anyone show me how I can update the plan so I can see
if the line with unlimited plan will be $30?
Thanks.

No, it would be $45. The $30/Line requires at least two lines to be unlimited.

go to your account and you'll an option to upgrade to new plan. hit it and should be done within minutes. add 2 more lines on per gig plan and keep it in drawer so you can get multi line discount. this way, for 3 lines on 1gb will cost you $15 and the unlimited will cost you $20 - taxes extra. so 5 lines at $15 + $20 + taxes. and take $100 discount and rewards (if you have) for BYOD. ENJOY.

No, it doesn't as per new plan.

I'm pretty sure that is not accurate

holly_molly is correct. Per XM's wording, "Enjoy Unlimited multi-line pricing based on the total number of lines on your account, including tablets and lines using By the Gig data." So to get $30/line unlimited for 2-lines pricing, one of those lines can be on by-the-Gig.
