I've owned this laptop for 6+ months and have found it to be excellent.

The screen is fantastic (matte with excellent resolution and visibility) weight, keyboard, touchpad, build quality, all have been excellent.

I do notice laptop can heat up and the fan will run a bit at times, but that seems the case with most ultrabooks so I don't find it to be a significant issue.

Overall I think it's very solid for the price.

Yeah OKish machine with great specs for the money but questionable chassis, build quality and touch pad.

Unless Dell has drastically changed, I would only buy them if it's an absolute must. Still better than HP though

3.9/5 is very bad? I've been using this for 2 weeks, and am satisfied with it.

I bought this last time it was on sale and ended up returning it. Runs very loud, and the rubber feet on the hinge will not last, as they rotate and rub on the surface while opening and closing the laptop. It also struggled to get more than 5 hours of usage. Screen looked good, but if you're doing more than light web browsing, I'd stay away.

I'd keep an eye on the galaxy book2 sale prices at BB. If you're willing to spend a little more you can get a way better PC. Just got an open box model for 700--12th gen i7, 16gb ram etc etc and a way better screen

Same, purchased and returned within a couple weeks because the machine was too loud for a SSD.

On a lighter note, I tried playing MS Flight Simulator on it, and every airport sounded like it was on an aircraft carrier! 😁🤣

I got Dell Latitude 7400 2 in 1 with I7 and 512 Mb SSD in refurbished.for a little over $400 with tax. It does not have visible scratch, 14 inch touch screen with preminum build quality feel, all functions worked excellent, it had sensors and detect your face for auto log in ( i loved this ) or pin log in. I repeated purchase Dell refurbished latop after 4 years good experience with another flawless running of Latitue line. Give it a check, right now they have some discount over $300 for laptop price over $699.

That one has GPU though so performance, fan operation likely changes.
