I have this it's good. it makes a bunch of beeps when you sit on it/use it which might be off-putting to announce to the house you are sitting on the toilet... but you can open it up and remove the speaker if you really want to stop it beeping. heated seat is just always on which is unfortunate. also amazon same price
You can press and hold the "H/C Massage" and "Automatic Clean" buttons to turn the beep off and on.

I did it on mine. It worked.

Seems like a good deal. Do most people like having remotes for all sorts of electronic devices? I think the only thing I like having a remote for is the television. Fans, lights, etc… I just see myself getting frustrated looking for the remote.

Really would like to get one of these but then I'd have to install a electrical outlet near it which would increase the costs substantially.
If you have an outlet on the other side of a shared wall to your bathroom/water closet area, you can use something like this --

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H9C1176/

(if link breaks, search for Echogear In-Wall Cable Concealer Kit)

They're expensive for what they are but a lot cheaper than an electrician, look nice, and are easy to install. There are cheaper ones that are basically just a hole without the power plug, don't use those as they aren't designed for power cords and the water heater might draw a decent amount of power (fire hazard).

Owner of a large house with multiple bidet's. I bought this as a replacement. I would rate it a 3/10. It is better than no Bidet, but that is about it. Would not buy again.

I bought this model for like $220 maybe a year and a half ago, when my Bio Bidet broke. Love this one. Lower profile, tankless, so you get pretty much unlimited hot water. Heated seat is nice for winter use too. And I just disabled the beep by removing the speaker prior to install. Easy peasy.

You can get these on Ebay for around $100 (open box). I guess there must have been lot of returns.

That's how they should be used anyway, you have a nice table for your phone, easy access to the flush handle...

anything for a round toilet?
I'd recommend a dumpster or breaking it apart into smaller pieces to go into your normal trash receptacle.

Reasons? Most reviews are very positive other than the beep (which can be disabled).

Ew, I guess for people who also like earwax with their used earbuds.

I know! Silly plumbers, always trying to keep electricity and water separated…

In Japan it's not an issue because they know of you get electrocuted, you'll turn into a superpowerful mech robot who will stop at nothing to take down the Hayaku Syndicate and their reign of terror.

Full disclosure: never been to Japan
Normally, you'd need to install a GFCI outlet anywhere near water source so I think this is just hyperbole. Anyways, keep your ass clean.
