Don't currently have a bidet? Just get it. These generic ones that don't need a plug and just T in fresh water from the wall are very low maintenance and effective. You'll get used to the cool water in a few crap sessions. Bought one about 5 years ago (different brand) and it's working like the day I got it. And it's gone through a lot. Like average 2.5 feces a day.

Only regret was not getting a bidet earlier in life and thinking bidets were gross. You know what's gross? Wiping buttocks with dry paper and calling it a day

I just took a vacation for a few days.. hated every morning without a bidet. After 3 years of daily use, I rely on these things.. had to use my toddlers wet naps and still didn't feel clean enough. I had to wet some napkins in the faucet.. one time I even gave up and just hopped in the shower.. these things should be in every bathroom..

In 3 years, the only downside was, we have one with a side sprayer. The inclusive hose was cheap and broke after a year. Started to flood the bathroom but we caught it quick. For piece of mind, make sure you have a working disconnect if you choose these types of models along with a better stainless steel hose.. a regular bidet without side sprayer won't have this issue

I grew up in a country where all toilets have a bidet incorporated in them from the factory. Then I moved to the US in the early 2000 before bidets were widely available here. It was so gross washing my ass with a bottle every day.

100%. Not only used to, prefer! My toto bidets don't put out the same water flow! Anytime I'm forced to poop away from these bad boys, I cringe at smearing toilet paper! laugh out loud

Agree about the simple bidets, but the powered ones I've experienced always seem to have issues with failing heating coils, calc, and other issues. Moen, Kohler, and Bio being the main culprits Confused
I've had my Swash for years, daily use - and it's been perfect.

Most Americans walk around with STINK ASS because they have no idea what the bidet concept is.

I look for two things in non-electric bidets, good water lines and all brass inlet and valve. Based on this review and the low price, I assume it has neither.

"I bought & installed the bidet in June 2020. It was AMAZING! A couple of weeks ago the water line split and water was gushing in my bathroom."

Having a bathroom flood is not worth saving $20 over a better product. If you are wondering what that is, I can personally confirm Bio Bidet has the both, Brondell uses a plastic valve (and I think connector but I forgot.)

For the ones worried about cold water. It's closer to room temperature since that water stays in your house pipes. I agree that the simplest solutions are less prone to defects. Murphy's law!!!

For anyone buying this as their first low cost bidet, just keep in mind this is basically a connection from your main water pipe to a very basic valve. It gets the job done perfectly, but if your pipe has a lot of pressure, you'll need to be very careful when opening the bidet's valve as it may shoot a jet of water so strong, water will go up and in regardelss of how good your sphincters are.

If your dog poops on your hand do you just wipe it off with toilet paper? No you wash your hands with water. Get a bidet and don't look back.

Anybody know what the two water modes are I can't see the small photo

The inclusive hose broke because it was not diverse...just saying.

Always make sure your bidet comes with metal T connection and braided cable. None of that plastic sh*t
Absolutely agree, plus: metal internal tube (inside seat) btwn inlet connection and sprayer.

PS. Like others here, I am a total bidet devotee, once you have one you will never go back. IMHO, cold/tap water is just fine & does the job.
