I have a lovely poem that I would like to share about AMD and NVIDIA treating their main consumer base for the last 2 years while in a depressing pandemic like ****. Here it goes, "Ha Ha! Hoo Hoo! **** You!"

How does this compare to a GTX 1660 super? User benchmarks makes the 1660S look favorable, and less expensive right now. I'm about to go for my first build and trying to understand all this.

Don't use user benchmarks. It is a garbage website for evaluating graphics cards performance because it uses very poor apples to oranges synthethic estimates that are wildly off at depicting real world performance. Google Techpowerup reviews of the RX6600. They have GPU comparison charts that depict real world performance of different GPUs. The RX6600 is compared to the 1660 Ti, which is equal to the 1660 super.

The RX6600 is 42% faster than the 1660Ti/1660S according to real world performance.

Userbenchmark's estimates seems to have reached a new level of stupidity and uselessness if it estimates a 1660S is better if the 1660S actually loses by such a huge margin in games and benchmarks.

Thanks man. I think I looked at it wrong on userbenchmarks, but the difference isn't as obvious as techpoweup.

How's this compared to 3050 Ti? My use case is mostly for 1080p old school games, eg. Desperados 3, Starcraft 2 and some 1080p light video editing for my children's school assignments. Will this help me render faster compared to my ryzen 5 5600G APU?
