Menards has Scotts Sun & Shade grass seed on sale this week. After the 11% store mail-in rebate it comes out to $57.84 for 20lbs. This is much better than the $80 and $100 at the orange and blue stores.

Not an "end of season blowout" price but if you are itching to plant seed this fall it's a decent price.

Some other bag sizes and grass types were also on sale.

Walmart has a lot of these on clearance. Picked up 16lb Scotts sun and shade rapid grass mix for $16, MRP $89-$99. Plus they have lots of others on clearance as well. YMMV

HD has a 40 lb bag at 145, but the dates on the seed are 2021. I needed 150 LBS for overseeding in a few weeks. I ordered the 8-20 lbs bags from Amazon a few weeks ago which came to around $500. The seed was dated July 2022. The price varies daily but the longer you can wait the more it comes down this time of year. January last year I purchased a 40 lb bag on Amazon for under$100 and that seed was dated 2 weeks prior to purchase date. If you watch the Scotts store on Amazon you see some amazing prices for other products real cheap delivered.
