These probably don't have the bitter coating on them which can cause connection issues in certain devices and make them taste worse. If they do, the coating can be removed by lightly sanding it off, or wiping it off with rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol for enhanced contact and flavor

Non coated is better because it doesn't have the bitter coating like most energizer cr2032 batteries do.
