The only good thing left with Bonvoy is when you book for 4 nights with points, you get the 5th night free. But that's only if you have banked a lot of points.
2k or 4k points will get most people nowhere.
I have called about 3x now. About once every 2-3 months. Each time I go through the explanation and give an incident number, each time its escalated to a higher department, and each time I hear nothing back.. forget about it for a few months.. and then remember to call and ask where are my damn points at???
That's before I get to the point where they have devalued the sh*t outta the program that used to be Starwood. I left Marriott for Starwood like 15 years ago.. damn if they didn't force their way back by merging the company. Hilton isn't much better. IHG and Hyatt are my only remaining hope as these hotels continue to merge like the airlines.. and every time they do the program gets devalued AGAIN.
Totally gonna do 6 separate bookings for my corp trip EOM
