Yes this, last year someone posted a list of all the trade-in values for each phone model, that was super helpful

Give it some time folks, once the diehards and early adopters get thru the system, us deal seekers will be able to get in. The upgrades are incremental, I doubt these will be sold out day one. Perhaps only a few color/gb combos will be.

Yep, last Oct/Nov, traded a 12 for a 13 while only paying $85 at Best Buy.

Currently have 4 lines on T-Mobile Simple Choice and want to trade-in and port-in an iPhone XR from Verizon. Where would we find the highest trade-in value for the XR and get a good deal on an iPhone 14 Pro between T-Mobile/Apple/Best Buy/Costco? Should we wait a month or so until the better deals come out from Best Buy/Costco?

ideally wait until november- usually weekend of black friday walmart does $500 gc's that stack with carrier promos.

I just went through the process with Best Buy for a iPhone 14 Pro Max. My trade in was an iPhone 13 Pro Max 128GB so $800. Total came to $299 "Due Today" at checkout plus tax with activation. So no bill credits. Does require activation for non Tmobile customers. I can't add a plan as the site is stuck at that point.

So this is indeed no bill credits but a lower trade in value for phones. Will trade in go to $900? I sure hope so, but kind of doubt it. That was my cut off too..........$200 for the phone plus tax and a month of service. This deal isn't it. Guess I'll wait too.
