If you have a paid off iPhone 12 or newer I don't see any reason why you wouldn't take this offer. It's literally a free upgrade, yes in bill credits but still free. Unless you hand down your older devices to family then that's understandable. Of course I'm with AT&T and they are offering me $1000 in credits.

It seems like the T-mobile deal is different from the rest. I don't see $1000 off for iPhone 12 for T-mobile and you don't need monthly bill credits for the trade-in discount.
