If you can hold off for a few months I suspect there will be similar offer like beginning of this yr. where ip13P = iP14p tradein once they see these ip14 phones are stacking up. There is no way people will upgrade to 14 that has no sim in mass when they have a perfectly capable 13 and lack of real upgrades. Just sit tight.

^^ if you drive across the country or ski in back country there are plenty of dead zones. Having this feature is a game changer !

Best Buy eventually offered $975 trade-in for iPhone 12PM upgrade to 13PM 128GB last go-around. I think they could offer that again, maybe around Black Friday?

Also, I try to buy only the base models partly because you get the same trade-in values regardless of storage capacity, and I try to make do with 128GB.

I kept missing "apply" in a few tries. Frustrating.

BB ran the similar deal last year a few times. I got 13 PM during the launching week. So not sure if we will see better deal in coming weeks.

I traded in 13PM for 14PM. The trade in credit applies to the final price, and Tmobile will give a 36 month installment for the rest, but I think early payoff will work if we need to unlock (but don't know if it's still useful because of the esim)
