If I was on the magenta max plan, I would have gotten $1000 off, but wasn't worth it with the grandfathered plan I'm on. You are correct though, the $290 is instant and the $500 is broken up into 24 mo bill credits, I thought I mentioned that in my post but if not, my bad. I too thought that it would be done the way you are mentioning, as thats what they did in the past, but the rep swore up and down thats not the case and made notes on my account. I even called back to confirm the notes were actually left.

Seems to me that aside from the Carrier offers Best Buy is running their own trade in promo. IPhone 12 or newer nets what appears to be $800 instant TIV towards iPhone 14/Plus and $1000 towards iPhone 14 pro/max. Activation via upgrade/new line required. Looks to start 9/16 and not a lot of details except what's in the fine print.

If this is true this is the deal to get. Iphone 12 goes for $350-$400 on the used market.

if anyone figures out how to claim this bestbuy offer please let us know i couldn't figure it out online and will try the store this weekend but my store is the last to figure these offers out.

BB makes it sound like 12 is the minimum for trade since it says 12 and up to save up to $1000. My question is what is the minimum savings?
