OP, Target chat reps often price match by factoring in the 5% discount when determining the refund amount. Are you sure you saved an additional 5% off ($39) of the Costco-matched $779.99?

Not necessarily as some store's policy excludes Pre orders for price match. Bottom line, I'm just trying to share my experience hoping others can benefit.

I have price matched a dozen times and even added a Target Employee discount to the mix and always got the price match without getting dinged for the employee or red card discount.
And it's at least a dozen times.
If you even meet a Rep who is trying to act smart then simply hang up and try another one. I have never had any problems though.

I pre-ordered Apple Watch Ultra together with iPhone 14 pro max on Verizon website. Got $800 trade in credit for my iPhone 12 Pro Max and I got $180 trade in credit for my old Apple Watch series 4 and additional $120 credit for buying the new Ultra together with iPhone. Overall I saved $1,100. So about $300 off the new Apple Watch Ultra, pretty slick! But this only works if you don't plan on switching carrier for 36 months.

The capabilities of this watch and the titanium case actually make it a pretty good deal imo. The dive computer functionality alone pays for nearly the whole thing If you use it.

technically you saved 1100- the price (iphone 12 pro max resell + watch 4 resell value) because you gave them that , if sold it outside you would have got that money so, it's less than 1100 than you think, but still a good deal and less hassle
