I don't think that's how epilepsy works. Epilepsy is a disorder where the nerve functions in your brain are disturbed, usually from a genetic disorder or brain injury. A seizure is a symptom of epilepsy. And lights with the spinning can TRIGGER a seizure, not CAUSE an epilepsy. This is what you meant to say, right? Lol

I think their point is that flashing lights don't "cause epilepsy", rather than trigger seizures in epileptic or photosensitive people

Got these on clearance at Walmart several months ago. Didn't expect the kids to care for them that much but they actually have a lot of fun with it

Just found my receipt it was August 2021 at our Walmart that loves to put random stuff on clearance. We paid $3 for one. I just picked up two more as gifts. Like I said our kids had fun with them.

It is not known what the exact causes of epilepsy are and some doctors do believe that flashing lights can cause it, but yes it usually all starts with seizures and that's the primary concern with this toy. The toy also comes with tons of warnings about this.

Recommended age limit 6-8 years. I keep a stash of new toys in my basement purchased via deals like this for birthday gifts, & NEVER buy full price ones last minute. Recommended… if you have kids with lots of friends & birthday parties are common. Ordered a couple.
