The Vizio m512a-h6 for the same price seems to be the better bar but there are ppl that have problems with it. I bought one and it's been phenomenal. I watched the new Top Gun with it and was blown away with the sound. So it could be YMMV but Im glad I got one I was coming from an old Yamaha yas 203 2.1 bar.
Here's the comparison per rtings https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/t...shold=0.10

It's all good bro. I just bought the Vizio M512a-H6
last week for $399 and using my Best Buy certificates. Watched Top Gun Maverick and thought the same 😆. I did notice there is a audio sync issue even with audio delay turned all the way down on the sound bar and firmware updated but its not enough to persuade me to return. Before that I bought a Hi-Sense 2.1 sound bar that was worse than my TV speakers so I returned it for the Vizio. The quality on the Vizio is amazing for the price. Definitely would take the Vizio over this anyday. Just posted this cause it was the deal of the day and I didnt see anybody else post it.

FYI that comparison is for the LG 3.1.2 version without the rear speakers. I also have the Vizio m512a-h6 and it's amazing when it works. E-arc issues with my LG OLED G1.

Soon as I hooked mine up with eARC. Everything worked perfectly. I'm afraid to do any updates lol
Rear speakers are not wireless! Good luck with ugly wires all over your living room like it's 1992 again!
No such thing as wireless. You either need to plug it into power or plug in the speaker cables.
For those of us that want no wires whatsoever and want to wall mount, it's considerably easier to fish low voltage speaker cable than it is to fish 110v.

I read you can downgrade it after upgrading but if it's working perfectly I wouldn't mess with anything either. Im using it through earc on my 75" F30 Fire TV and noticed the audio is out of sync only when I use the built in streaming services or OTA TV. Everything is accurate when playing 4K movies from my PC. Thinking its more to do with my TV than the sound bar.

Agreed. Wireless speakers would have to be battery powered which would suck in quality and efficiency
The Vizio M512a-H6 model being mentioned here as the better buy is $500 currently on both Best Buy and Amazon. Even if the Vizio is better I doubt it's worth $150 better. Considering both have a virtually similar feature set. I think this is a good buy.
Best Buy has the LG S65Q on sale as well (for $200). I bought it earlier today but haven't opened it yet. Wondering whether I should stick to that or upgrade to the S75QR for $350. I'm setting it up in my basement in front of exercise machines. So it's not like I need home theater. But then $350 is a good price and having eARC is more future proof.

Only thing I'm wondering is whether ai should
I think you will be happier with the Vizio but it is pretty expensive at full price. It's currently $448.30 on Amazon. At $500 I would be looking into an Atmos receiver and speakers.
Best Buy has a 15 day return policy regardless if you open it or not. Would try them both out and see what you prefer. Here reviews for both items at Rtings.com

But honestly my use case was for just something better than TV speakers. I already have a 5.1.2 setup in my living room. This will go in front of the old TV that I decided to put in front of exercise machines in the basement. Don't really need home theater there.
But got tempted into future proofing for $150 more over my $200 purchase of S65Q earlier today. Spending another $100 would be overkill. If this were my primary setup I would have definitely considered the Vizio. Anyway, just exchanged the S65Q for S75QR. Hope it turns out to be a good buy.

Gamestop sells the Vizio for $350 pretty regularly. Set a deal alert for it.
