It gets loud. I sit 8ft from my tv and this soundbar sounds great and the subwoofer hits.
One thing that is important, I use e-arc and you definitely need to use the HDMI-Optical/e-arc input. It does not sound as good on the Bluetooth input.
You also need to download the app and increase some of the settings for surround, sub, and atmos speakers so you can hear them separately from the bar.
Does the atmos work, sure. I actually used the Xbox audio setup to test at one point and you can distinctly hear the sound from above you when it tests for atmos, so it does work, although it's likely not the best support.
I'd consider myself a slight audiophile. I appreciate good sound and I have a dedicated sureound in my living room.
I'm happy with the soundbar for the price and for what it's supposed to be, a soundbar. Will I upgrade to a dedicated system one day, of course, but will this be fine until then, definitely.
My 2 major complaints are that it sometimes loses the input it's supposed to be on and you need to correct it via the app (it's rare but happens). My other complaint is that, because it's a soundbar and only 32" or so wide, the soundstage is a bit narrow for my 77" tv. It sounds great, it's just narrow. You'd have to be an audiophile to notice or care though.
If you like the price, I'd say go for it. It's one of the few atmos bars that have dedicated rear surrounds.
Oh that reminds me, the rear surrounds have a weird setup. They work fine, it's just strange how LG decided to make it work and idk why they did it this way. There is a dedicated box to hold the wifi for the tears and then the tears connect via regular speaker wire to the wifi box. The wifi box needs dedicated power supply. It's not the end of the world and it works and has been 100% reliable, but it begs the question of "why". Why not just put wifi and power in both speakers. It would make placing them a lot easier IMO. The box just seems unnecessary.
Anyways, I'd say buy it if you are on the fence. Don't pay more but $350 is a fair deal. It's well built and sounds great.

Im running that to a TCL 6 series and while the sound is very good, the software is a farking hassle.
Reviews minus the rears
Sub isn't very good, but has good out of the box dialogue
There's only 1 of them, but I purchased this exact soundbar from the same seller back in December for an offer of $150
Came very well packaged and looked good. You can tell it was a return but it's not scuffed or beat to hell and I've purchased refurbished products that have looked worse
Outside of occasionally having to power it on separately from the TV, it has been an amazing product at a ridiculous price thus far

Says listing removed, what's seller's name, was there a shipping charge? Thanks
What kind of set up would you suggest for a starter?
4surpluscity but it seems like it's sold out now, but no, shipping was free
No, it won't work that way. Only surround "sounds" come out of the rears.
