Highly doubt the performance increase, in real world use, will be THAT high. The performance improvement rumors are never true except in maybe 1-2 benchmarks. Gaming performance will not go up 78-90% over the current gen, that is wishful thinking.

Your right, its synthetic benchmarks numbers. Which definitely is way lower vs real world bc a lot of games can still be CPU bound such as Cyberpunk, which slows such a small increase in FPS at 4k despite much faster GPUs.
Bought the 3090ti founders at best buy two days ago. Should be ready for pickup this Friday. As far as benchmarks let's think of real world games for a minute. I doubt cyberpunk will see 78% better frame rates at 1440p or 4k. Maybe 20-30% higher frame rates. Just my estimate. I think 3090ti will definitely have place over next 2-3 years with 24gb ram. Until 4090ti is out. Every new generation they promise double performance and real world benchmarks disagree. This is for those who keep saying hold the line. Hope you don't find yourself without a card. 40 series will be picked up by scalpers for 6+ months and 30 series flagships could go back up in prices.
