The timing is not very ideal as I have Amazon Luna+ trial and $1 XGP Ultimate in progress.
Too many games and too little time. Another option is Geforce Now for people who have AT&T wireless with 6 months free. I personally like Geforce Now the best as it is the only cloud platform that supports the PC platform and the saved files can be synced to a PC..
Hahaha I bought a Chromecast Ultra with Stadia and the Google Home app will set it up and finalize everything without issues; then it says "Can't see Chromecast on this WiFi network, check that it's online..."
I've had it for months and no matter how many times it's been factory reset, setup without issues... I get that message and cannot use the stadia nor Chromecast.
I've never hated a piece of tech like these 2. They've never been used, even once.
My entire house is setup with a dozen smart plugs, google nest etc and they're the only things that have never worked. As an IT guy it's maddening. They're "help" and this issue is literally 5yrs+ and counting with more than a hundred thousand complaints about this.
Never been resolved by Google. They actually send you to their forums lol to get help with this issue.
Neither band wifi fixes this issue.
If you or anyone else has some ancient Chinese secret to help resolve this, please share. 🙏

Yeah it's not bad to get it for a month when a new game comes out, but it's definitely not worth it month after month.

In addition to a different router or potentially replacing it, you might want to try a different power source. If you have the power connected to the USB on your TV, try instead connecting it to a power outlet with a USB brick. Also make sure that USB brick is rated to give enough juice. It may be just enough right now to get it going but then failing when it tries to do everything properly.
I had a similar issue when I had it plugged into a bad cell phone USB brick.
