New Balance overall but like diapers it depends, go to a running store and have someone knowledgeable get you fitted. I have seem some stores have a treadmill so you can try running on the shoes without going outside.

Iagree Even if you find a shoe you like, once they discontinue that model and release another, the new one may not necessarily be right for you. A good running store will ensure that your running shoes fit properly, and fit your profile.

For example, I found out that Asics, Hoka, and New Balance don't work well for my stride. Mizuno was what they recommended, a brand that I probably never would've selected on my own.
