If this was FHD, I'd agree 100%. But this is QHD with 1ms response time. At $115, that's not too shabby -- especially since they're tacking on a 2-year warranty.

The one in this post is clearly a productivity monitor not a gaming monitor so there is no reason for them to make it faster than 75 Hertz

Fantastic monitors. Been using the "W" variant for the last year or so and it's perfect for spreadsheets and assorted work stuff. Ordered two more for the other work PC.

"Refurbished" not a slickdeal.

Recently bought a refurbished monitor from Acer on eBay with a big discount and I'm very happy with it, it looked like a small piece of plastic on the stand had cracked so someone returned it, otherwise it was like brand new. Would easily buy one again in the future

Also on a refurb Acer 32" 165hz VA monitor 1080p for about $170 from ebay. Happy with it for web browsing and games but there is some ghosting, although it could be the nature of VA panels. Under Windows settings, it can apparently go to 240hz despite no website listing it, even on the official Acer site. Odd.

Can't speak for this particular model. Nice price for a second monitor and decent res. If it were more than 75hz, I'd bite myself. Thanks, OP!

Update to avoid another post: that's fair, Captain. vvv

Yes too many of the slickdeals are for gaming monitors. I work in VFX and don't need amazing monitors but I do want to upgrade. I'm looking for the right monitor at the right price

Anyone know how this monitor works in portrait mode? A lot of them distort the picture. How about this one?

Tried to find on acre official site and this seems most likely to be the model starting with KA272U? If so then it has VESA and it has 1x HDMI 1x DP and headphone.

250 nits, anything less than 400 is a crime these days, refurb or not
