Purchased one of these almost two years ago and have been very impressed with it since then. It is battery powered, vs capacitor, but I haven't experienced any issues, but I also don't have a dark colored car or live where it gets over 104 degrees more than a couple days a year. As far as I know, it's the most affordable and one of the only cameras that records 4K front and 1080P rear at the same time. Most other 4K cameras drop to 2.5k recording when you add the rear camera. The iOS app and firmware also seem really solid to me, unlike most other brands of dashcams I've used over the years.
