This one as well as the 82 version has been skipped over when it comes to 4k. Of all the movies that deserve an uplift these should be at the top of the list. ..but sadly they're not. I'm not sure how the sound is on this (dts) and whether that needs an upgrade but 4k atmos would be nice. This is in HD.

Since both of you don't seem aware of this, but Tron was filmed in 1080p resolution with a Sony F35 CineAlta digital cinema camera. It will never come out in true 4K. They made a mistake by not filming at a higher resolution. Some upscale 4K magic is the only hope at this point since the master will never have 4k resolution.
