Recently rewatched this again (although I am a physical media guy, so I was on 4k Blu ray). Really enjoyable movie. Demo worthy experience. And a cool piece of Hollywood history.

it's amazing how much better this was than the initial turd Whedon took over... i still think there's a good 45min that could be chopped out of this Snyder's Cut, but i didn't find even that stuff to drag.
it's a shame, i think the DC universe would be in a much better place if (an edited version) of this was released and not the original.

Couldn't agree anymore with you. The original is somehow so unbearable and such a mismanaged mess. I never really thought Snyder could produce anything viable after the original released but when I watched his version, I was actually hyped and the story actually made sense. Too bad there's more than just bad decisions on DCs part with this movie. Ezra has now ruined this universe as well

Not if you approach it as watching two or three movies. Which is why it's broken up into six chapters.

Not everything has to be terrible or great. They can be in the middle. I don't think either cut is great. Nor are they terrible. That said, I agree that Snyder's version is much, much better than Whedon's. Even at its ridiculous length, it was never boring and the story made just so much more sense. And it had a lot more heart with all the Cyborg-centric stuff.

If I had to put a score on them, Metacritic-style, I'd say Whedon's version is a 54 and Snyder's is a 78.

Wonder Woman is good but not the best DCEU movie. I think Man of Steel is DCEU top film. I'll take WW, Snyder's JL, Man of Steel, and even Aquaman over the Marvel mediocre to piss poor ones: Captain America First Avenger, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor & Thor: Dark World, Eternals, Doctor Strange 2, Captain Marvel, and Iron man 3.

I'm with you on this one. Marvel movies are really good movies but nothing resonated with me more than Snyder's version of JL.
