Same here. Rtings actually did a head to head comparison between this Gigabyte and the C1:

I would consider this if was guaranteed to be $600. Rebates through Newegg have been a crapshoot for me. I've sent in five $15-$20 in the past year. On two of them I got the rebate, one of them responded and claimed I didn't send in the upc code, and on the other two I just never heard anything back.
I moved from a 48" curved Samsung TV to two 32" curved Philips (one 4k, one 1440p) monitors mounted together on one stand. I like the two 32" a LOT more than the single 48" as it is more natural to look left and right rather than up and down. Also, with a 48" monitor, you really want a curved display unless you are sitting really far from the monitor (like 4ft+). I find it hard to go back to a 32" or larger flat display after getting used to curved panels. Just so much easier on the eyes.

Just wanted to chime in about this monitor, I got mine today, and am testing it out. I see what people are talking about with the fonts and stuff, but honestly its so minimal I cant believe anyone is complaining about it. It honestly looks great, I also wonder if some people aren't using the DPI cable, and are using HDMI instead, which will likely diminish quality. All the fonts that I have looked at look great. Only thing is that this monitor is HUGE, so for that reason it may not be the best for a daily driver. Im just using it for an extra monitor so no issue there for me.
I want to buy 3 of them for sim racing, the lack of display port in LG C1 makes it tough. I bought 3 refurb LG C1s for $900 each, good deal, but when trying to connect all 3 to a single GPU it's tough to get GSYNC, HDR and 120 HZ out of a single GPU 3 times without 3 HDMI 2.1 ports. This monitor would solve the issue since it has a display port and HDMI 2.1 port.

This is a true monitor, but it is a monitor that is heavily focused on content consumption while sacrificing on productivity and content creation. The pixel layout is not standard, and Windows has a difficult time rendering text clearly, even with ClearType enabled. Text will never be as crisp as a monitor with a standard RGB pixel layout.
This, it looks really good IMO, but I like Oat said, it may be a dealbreaker for some.

Are you sure its not a GPU issue?

3 of these would be amazing for gaming.

As far as I know, there is no GPU that has 3 x HDMI 2.1. The Gigabyte Aorus is 2x2.1 and 1x2.0b. Most if not all other Nvidia GPUs are 2 x HDMI 2.1 or less, forcing us to use DP to HDMI adapter that makes us lose GSYNC. It is a complicated and unfortunate scenario. Most DP to HDMI don't support 4k 120hz either, have to drop down to 1440p 120hz, and some also lose HDR. It's a mess lol.

These problems are solved when getting a monitor with display port (i.e. this AUROS monitor, LG's 48" version or ASUS 48" version that just came out). I didn't know this when I bought my 3 LG 55 C1s.

Take pictures of everything before you send. I've had the same thing happen many times with Newegg rebates but I just send them the pictures of everything together and individually. I get my rebates. They definitely do try to steal from you.

It appears to have arrived in great condition BTW. I haven't had enough time to set it up and power it on yet though.

Mine was delivered on Saturday, and arrived in great condition! Keep in mind it ships in the product box, and requires a signature, so make sure you'll be home when it's delivered. I've had no dead pixels that I can see so far, and it's running at 120hz on my PC! I can't speak for the warranty yet, but hopefully it comes through!

Is OLED ok for long term use monitor ? I turn on Monitor 15 hours per day.
You should know this monitor says in the instructions to take 10 minute breaks every 30 minutes. So that cuts down on 2 hours of usage right there x.x

My tracking hasn't moved since the 15th. Still says on the way from Ontario CA. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I got mine in 1 day, ordered on the 14th and received it on the 15th from Ontario. I'm relatively local though.

It finally showed an update so I should be good for delivery tomorrow. How have you been liking your monitor?

Same. It was showing back order this morning when I ordered, but it shipped today for a Wednesday delivery.

I've got a 65" CX in the living room and it's gaming perfection. It'll be nice to have an OLED in the office too. I would have preferred a 43" C2, but a 48" OLED for $600 is just way too sick to pass up.

My current ultrawide is on an arm, but it's not a strong enough one for this display. I'm going to try the feet, but throwing that arm in an Amazon wishlist just in case. If you think about it, id like to hear how it works for you.

I've read this is a good gaming monitor but the ABL is worse than the LG? The ASUS that is $1500 is supposedly very good (same LG panel, but better heatsink). I don't know if the ABL can even be disabled on the Aorus in the service menu.

I'm thinking of getting one primarily for gaming, I'm not sure if people are going to be happy here long term with using it as a PC display, even though that's what the display port was for. There are too many reviews talking about the Aorus problems, I think there's a reason it's so "cheap" here. I also own a 55 CX and 3 55 C1s. I'm thinking of getting 3 Aorus for sim racing, where ABL won't matter as much from what I hear.

There are cases of burn in already (1 year) and weird black blotches that appear and disappear along with the aggressive/noticeable ABL that I wouldn't use it as a PC monitor other than a try and hope it works for $600. At least it's significantly cheaper than the competition that it doesn't hurt as much with some of its problems.
