Looks like these are on clearance.

When I searched HD website, it didn't show $33 price, but also says "Not available for Pickup". There were 3 left after I got mine. Brickseek was showing price as "Clearance".

The Wyze Sprinkler was on an inside end cap in the lighting department, right under the doorbells.

Store I bought from is in WA.

Via brickseek: Pierce, King and Thurston County have the most stock in the Puget sound region (limited stock in Whatcom/Snohomish/Kitsap County). Portland area also showing clearance with lots of stock.

Got a friend in FL. I hear the weather is great. We get 2-3 months of sunshine and no rain every year. Once the sun leaves us, we become sad and we water our lawns with our tears.

I don't have the wyze but I bought a similar Rachio. I didn't need alot of the smart stuff but it's crazy nice to be able to troubleshoot zones and repair sprinklers real time without running back and forth.

Lol, good one. Always thought there was a lot of rain over there, guess not. We got 44 inches of rain already this year…very moist here.

Yeah, I went and adjusted my MP rotators and it only took 3-4 minutes and stayed dry. Usually a soggy 15 minute job. Glad I can easily adjust it from an app vs dealing with dials and a sequence of button presses.

We get about 40-50" per year. Everything is nice and green from October-June, then it turns to kindling in about 2 weeks. lol

Nice. Yeah, looks like they are a clearance item.

Looks like a decent amount in stock in Pierce/Thurston Co.

Only a handful of stores in King Co. are showing in-stock, but they seem to have a lot per store.

Whatcom, Snohomish and Kitsap Co. are looking limited, but they have stores with it in-stock.

That's about it for the Puget Sound region. Island and Skagit Co. look empty.

Going a little south (Troutdale/Tigard/Beaverton), looks like the stores that have them have quite a bit.

The retail price seems to be $65, how does this compare the Rachio unit?

I dont have any personal experience with Rachio, but had eyed it a few times. From what I gather, Rachio has/is rolling out a free service that can automatically adjust watering. Wyze offers a similar service for $10 annually, though you get 1year for free with purchase of the Wyze Sprinkler.

I personally haven't had a chance to test it out that specific service (it's rained once since I installed the unit, but the rain was on a day I don't water anyway). Rachio looks more like a standard residential irrigation controller, the Wyze is more modern and stands out a bit. Setup was easy. Everything is functioning as expected.

Some things I like:

The Wyze Calendar shows past and future watering events, which is nice.

There's offline scheduling (not a big deal since if internet is out, power is generally out too).

You can save schedules and easily enable/disable. For example, we have watering restrictions form June 1st-Sept 1st, so I have set up watering to account for it vs off season or no-watering restrictions when its still dry out.

There is a Cycle/Soak feature (if your soil is more compact/clay, this helps reduce runoff/pooling).

You can adjust soil types, sprinkler head type, and name each area.

With "Sprikler Plus", you can just let Wyze take all the thinking out. It can pause watering for wind/temp/rain/predicted water saturation from previous rain.

Again, not sure how this compares to Rachio. But I'll probably ask my buddy to compare them next weekend when he stops by. I really just needed something to allow me to adjust /repair sprinkler heads remotely and this fit the bill. Might end up switching to Rachio one day if the price is right or Wyze fails me.

Saw one for $33 at my store last night... And came here to post about it. BS says another local store has 123 of them, which seems like an odd number of them to have on hand.
