I have this. It's amazing. It has the shortest delay possible with a camera, considering the camera has to wait to see an image before projecting the color, rather than an HDMI sync box that can respond instantly. However, as soon as the camera sees the image, the colors change. It's super close, to where you won't notice it unless you're just staring at the lights. It's like a millisecond. This basically gives everything more depth. I wouldn't be able to go back to not having this. Also, a big advantage that this has over sync boxes is that, because of the camera, you don't have to swap HDMIs and it works on everything you're watching. Sync boxes require HDMI, so you wouldn't be able to use it with built-in TV apps, if you use those. You would also have to keep getting up to plug different things in, depending on how many devices you have and how many ports the sync boxes have. The Philips one is also hundreds of dollars, though there's a budget one called FancyLED. I honestly can't say enough good about this, though. For the price, there's no beating it. I also always forget the camera is even there. I thought it was really going to bug me, but that hasn't been the case. You don't even need to attach it to the TV. Some people have hidden it in a decoration under their TV. As long as the camera can clearly see the screen, you're good.

Do these actually work? I am wondering if they are responsive enough or do they become annoying over time.

Perfect timing, I have this on a TV I'm about to upgrade and it does make a huge difference. I've never noticed any lag.

I would suggest putting the camera on the bottom of the TV rather than the top though.

Would bite if it was available with the 65"-85" set but doesn't look like it is.

can i put the cam on the bottom?
if so, any idea how far away (height and depth) the cam sticks out for a 70 inches TV?

I have been wanting this but without the light bars, I don't have the spacing it suggests and am worried about interference with the camera. Has anyone else had camera problem with close spacing?

I have this set. It's awesome! Make sure to space your light bars out away from the camera, otherwise it'll distort the coloring. No complaints. Great price!

Yes, camera can mount to the bottom. I'd say the camera stick out about 3" from the TV and maybe 1-2" downward.

In for 1. I'm assuming 55-65 will be ok on the 65? It'll reach all the way around?

My TV is mounted on the wall so I don't think I'll be able to use the light bars though. :/ Unless anyone has ideas if a tv is wall mounted?

Best Buy has just the strip on sale for $69.99, so only 22% off. But if you can't use the light bars might as well spend a little less

Been slowly upgrading my girlfriends entertainment setup.

Went from an old crappy 32" Emerson with blown speakers, to a TCL 8 series 65" for $400 , with a JVC soundbar I got from here for $27, and now this to top it off. Thanks SD'ers!
