For others, I've got an Insta360 One X2. It's great, but it's very different from a GoPro. The stitching is impressive, but imperfect. Great for capturing 360 videos for direct upload or for when you want to select the target and convert to a regular video. However, you'll get lens flare as the camera moves, and some artifacts around the edges of the lenses. So, if you want to shoot a video where you're focused on a single thing, a regular GoPro will give superior results.
For anyone curious about 8-bit vs 10-bit and what 10-bit can do for your final product, BH Photo Video made a good explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNy24_X
Just checked and I do have this Amex offer, and with its forward-facing screen, I may jump on this. Need to first see some reviews about the overheating issue that seems to plague these later models, though.

Both $399 :/ Way to value your current subs.
Although the app can be pretty irritating at times, it's pretty powerful - can follow objects pretty easily throughout the timeline, move POV, change FOV, etc. If you want to make short clips for social media, Insta360 app makes it easy. They do have a desktop app, but haven't used it.

Generation 8 is almost an enhanced version of Generation 7.
Like the iPhone 8 series.
The most stable single-screen perfect version.
After the 9 generation experienced the front screen delay and overheating, power consumption problems.
Immediately after the 10th generation became larger... But solved some of the problems of the 9
11 seems to be a revised version
But in terms of overall image
9.10.11 is not much progress

Gopro has always been my best choice at the pool or the beach
Because I let the camera eat water once, iPhone 7 is also, each repair cost is a gopro price =. =.
