All this talk about the hood and stuff .. but what about the important things like how this is powered ?? solar? plug in? i see no electric chords ....

Ok - It's a plug in ! keep in mind.

[I was forced to open the costco page and look, which i didn't want to do because of slow computer / too many browser windows open...]

Can't use extension cords vastly limits where this can go. Not many people have a plethora of outlets around the outside of their home. It's a no from me dog.

It has a 16ft or so cord and it states do not connect to an extension cord/ timers etc. It appears to have only two options to turn it ON and it stays on for 14 hours or manually turn on and off. It kind of limits the options. It looks nice though in the yard.
