    Probably because it's been an ongoing promotion for years now, so I imagine at this point a good number of slickdealers have already taken advantage if they're interested.

    The bet here is on the laziness of the consumer. You are auto-enrolled in Amazon music and they are praying people don't notice or forget to cancel so they can ding you for 8.99 a month.

    They are OK, but are not compatible for Alexa Theater Mode (for surround sound effect) with Fire stick 4K Max. You'd need the 4th gen for that

    If you only see the "this bundle is not available…" blah blah message in read text. Just scroll down a little further to the "Frequently bought together" offer. Select the drop down arrow, then just uncheck the other two items (leave the echo dot checked tho) and then select "add to cart".
    Will be $0.99 for the dot and $8.99 for music.

    The Dot deal comes with 30 days of Music Unlimited that's non-refundable. When you cancel the one that comes with the Dot, it stays active until the 30 days are up. I don't know if they'll let you activate a separate 30-day trial in addition, but I'd doubt it.

    Honestly, I'm using the regular free music that comes with Prime and it works just fine. No need for the unlimited stuff here.

    i couldn't add it to cart so started chat w/ CS. at the end, they offered to give me the dot for free with no subscription needed. i said, well, i'd feel better paying 99 cents. so, that's how it shook out: got a 3rd gen dot for 99 cents, no subsc needed or added.
