My coupon expires today and cannot figure out what to spend it on. Anyone come up with anything versatile since GCs are obviously excluded? (Unfortunately so is beer/alcohol)

Mine expires today as well. I read that you can double dip online and in store. I used online already, but now I'm reading that you need to use in the store first then online. Anyone know if the reverse works or did I misread the last time this deal was on SD? I can't seem to find the $80 red card post from earlier this Summer.

I got approved and got $300 credit line. But I don't see the coupon. Do I get the $40 off automatically when buying $40+ or do I have to wait for confirmation?

Why not make a debit card if you're worried about a credit check

Anyone know if the debit card version will be reported to the credit agencies? Thinking it may be a good deal for my daughter to start establishing her credit! ..thanks

Thoughts???

Who is worried? Is there a hard pull with a debit card?

For people wondering, you can make a debit on their website instead of a credit. It does NOT inquire ANY credit pulls AND you still get the 5% discount. The debit one you just link to your bank and it works just like your every day debit card, it just pulls the money from whatever account you linked. Usually within a day.

The $40 coupon comes in the mail with your new card.
When the deal was going before, I read that it shouldn't matter in which order you double dip, If you use in store first, you can verify it's working for your online order.

Ouch, $300 credit line sucks...
You can use a total of $27.00 before you damage your credit score.

Debit cards are terrible financial tools. Never use a debit card. With a credit card, you get free protection from the government when CC Fraud happens as well as plenty of other benefits.

The point of using debit is that you can rinse and repeat lol

The point and problem with that is that a lot of people don't do that, end up misplacing the card and/or leaking the information, and losing money in the process.
