Yeah....t-mobile deals not as good as last year.

So, my calculation for two phone 14s this year is:
Phone 1 = $719.99
Phone 2 = $719.99
Taxes $86.40 (6% sales tax)
Total = $1,526.38
Rebate = $630
Total = $896.38

If you assume 3 months of $20 per line plans ($180 total), your total out out pocket for two unlocked iphone 14 is $1076.38 (or $538.19 each).

why is that a requirement always? do they expect us to make babies every year around September?

It's funny that Costco only accept Visa card but the rebate is Master card

My wife and I have an existing T-Mobile/Sprint account, so what's the SlickDeal move here to get new phones for both of us? Thanks
Do you have current devices to sell/trade in?

Do you prefer to have credits upfront or via monthly bill cycles?

Do you place value on unlocked phone so you could switch providers at anytime?

Good write up, OP. That said, I don't think the savings are enough for me to bother this year. If they bring back the higher GCs and BYOD and such it might make sense, but this doesn't seem like that great of a deal if you are looking to recoup costs.

I have talk & text $20 plan, was anyone able to add a new $20 line at costco? I tried to add a new line at bestbuy when BB had flip3 deal, but I was not able to, wondering if no way to add $20 line at any of the retailers

Does TMobile have activation fees, and/or if they do does Costco waive those? Any BS "sim card" fee? Just trying to see how else Tmobile may be whittling down the savings with extras.

If you have T-Mobile and don't mind bill credits just get the xr from totalwireless and trade it in. The phone will cost you $125 plus tax and you get $400 trade in credit. Sell your previous model and your about a even swap.

Only fee I am aware of is that Costco usually made you buy a SIM card for $7.99. Not sure if there will be any charge now as iPhone 14 eSIM only.

Does costco carry 256gb+ iphones?
Quote from sdAM2012 :
Same want to know, tho I'm interested in 512. I already have 170GB used in my iPhone 12 Pro
I'd also like to know as I'm interested in an iPhone 13 or 13 Pro 256GB or higher, if available.

Anyone in the Portland/Salem/Vancouver area, any idea which CostCo warehouse location has competent and knowledgeable wireless kiosk reps?

Who processes the rebate? Tmobile, or costco?

Agreed, last year was 720 GC and another $100 per line. here's my math for this year for people who are not interested in switching to T-MOBILE:

2 iPhone 14 Pro 128GB: $900 x 2 = $1800
6% tax: $108
Possibly 3 months of essentials @ 90/month, with tax: $286
GC: -$630
Total: $1564 ($782 per phone)

The phones this year are very much an "S" type revision. That combined with the market downturn, i think this time around we'll see better deals later in the year.
