Yeah....t-mobile deals not as good as last year.

So, my calculation for two phone 14s this year is:
Phone 1 = $719.99
Phone 2 = $719.99
Taxes $86.40 (6% sales tax)
Total = $1,526.38
Rebate = $630
Total = $896.38

If you assume 3 months of $20 per line plans ($180 total), your total out out pocket for two unlocked iphone 14 is $1076.38 (or $538.19 each).

It's funny that Costco only accept Visa card but the rebate is Master card

For what it's worth, I've done maybe 5 or 6 of these rebate card deals over the years at Costco. They used to be amazing. I mean, it was legit free. Some years I actually made a profit with the trade-in, new phone, and rebate card.

Starting last year, they've been mediocre. Looks like that is continuing and will be the new norm.

Get the new line. Every single time my rebates have arrived within 30 days (I track it). I cancel the next day without issue. Many are saying you have to pay 2-3 months of the new line. I guess YMMV but hasn't been the situation for me ever.

Read again, he said pro models = pro and pro max
Regular iPhone 14 and 14 plus will be ~15%

Makes sense though since iPhone 14 buyers will look at iPhone 13 for cheaper price also the sim card slot situation.

No, it doesn't make sense whatsoever, that is why I asked for the source of the 85%. Why, because at least 15% of series 14 buyers (probably much more) will be buying the base 14 alone, even if they already have an ip13. Otherwise, they would have nixed the base model, or will next year. . .and how could they do that?

Probably half won't care about eSim only, or even notice it until after they get their new phone.
The masses aren't SD and reddit followers. . .just want the latest. . .or cheapest current gen. . .and cheapest normal buy in towards the next upgrade down the line. That is how the masses think.

And the poster we replied to said he just meant PRO (not PM as well). . .which will make his point harder after sales numbers come in.

On Simple Choice and looking at adding a line anyway, maybe worth it since, but I don't need two phones, and I actually prefer EIP so I don't have to spend $1.5k upfront. Think there will be better deals with port in later?

That 85% number sounds like pre orders and not total sales. People only buying the regular 14 don't usually pre order it looks like.

I assume we cannot combine this with a trade in offer?

Where is this deal?
Like I said, it's literally on the T-Mobile website. Check under the deals tab, or when you put the phones in your cart, it should come up on there as well.

I don't see any such deal on t-mobile website. Neither there is one on slickdeal. Can you create a post and share it with everyone.

Adding a line deal through T-Mobile is 24 month locked.
Also Remember Costco price is already 10% off the MSRP already

Looks like Costco only has the basic 14's and none of the pro models at this time.

Thanks for posting this. Question: I have two friends who are seniors who will be switching from Verizon after getting scammed for years by them and overpaying. Is this the best deal for them joining T-Mobile and wanting to get iPhones ? Would the senior 55+ plan be better for them?
Yes.

T-Mobile has Magenta 55+ plan (unlimited Data/Text/Phone calls and can be used in Canada and Mexico for free) for seniors. (limit 3 lines max in each T-mobile acct)

Tax included monthly fee is 1 line for $50, 2 lines for $70, 3 lines for $105 (with auto pay}

I spoke to the Costco Wireless Kiosk supervisor in the San Francisco Bay Area and he told me the Pro (only purple color) and Pro Max (gold and black) will come next week on Monday or Tuesday. As of now, they only have regular black 14 in stock
This of course might vary location to location

Not impressed with Costco overall. Just let membership lapse because I could usually find everything cheaper elsewhere.
