I nearly got the $1300 Slim 7 Pro X deal from Costco which seems similar to this (more RAM, better processor, less bright screen, better return policy/warranty), but held off.
I can get this for around $900 after $200 credit from Amex offers and portal cash back. My biggest concerns are only 16GB of non-expandable RAM and no no-hassle (and no restocking fee) Costco return policy.
Thoughts?

1) lenovo has a coupon just for signing up where you get $50 off $1000 purchase, $100 off $2000, etc. So there's $50 off, making it $999.99.
2) on my Amex Platinum card, there is an offer for $100 off $500 on Lenovo. My wife has the same one. You can split purchases on lenovo across two cards. The $999.99 will be about $1090 with tax, so $545 on each card. We'll each get a $100 credit on our Amex bills.
3) shopping portal like top cash back or ra ku ten (not exactly sure what slickdeals blocks so I'm spelling them oddly). right now the latter is 10% back. that would be $100 off.
Total is $999.99 + tax minus $200 minus $100, so a total of about $790.
