Those thin wires bend easily and squeek after a few days.
The mattress gets indented by the weight places on those wires and the mattress was brand new,. Want it to last a long time.
If you need a sturdy frame that is solid bars across, look for the one that Minus claims will hold 4000lbs. (Super Heavy Duty)
We bought 3 of them and they are solid. No squeaking.
The height of the base is something to consider if your mattress is 14 inches or more. For some, it might be too high.
