I've had a similar one that's adjustable for a couple years and love it. I think I'd prefer adjustable in most situations. I line my work computer up with my monitor. Helps keep it at eye level and much cooler. I bought this LORYERGO stand in June 2022 when it was FP . The stand works fine. But it is little flimsy when you have a laptop on it and need to use the laptop keyboard to type. My laptop camera shakes a lot when typing while video conferencing. The metal on the LORYERGO stand is much thinner than what is shown on the product image on Amazon. My employer just sent me a new stand from the Nulaxy brand (29k reviews) on Amazon. That stand is much more sturdy than this LORYERGO (1.6k reviews on Amazon) option that is on sale. The Nulaxy is $5 more, however the metal seems 3x thicker than LORYERGO. They both weigh the same. I will be donating the LORYERGO stand away and just using the Nulaxy going forward

This is ugly when there is no laptop sitting on it, buy the one which collapses and is foldable. It costs extra 5 bucks but totally worth it.

not saying that is a bad product but I rather buy something that can be adjusted unless you really need a fix height

I have two of this exact stand, one at work and one at home. It's very sturdy and does the job. I bought both of mine for $19 though and not $30 so not sure how good of a deal this actually is at $14.

I purchased LORYERGO Laptop Riser for Desk instead. It is currently $16.5 after clicking on save an extra 50% . It is one-piece stand and much more stable.

I highly recommend The Ringke Folding Stand 2. I saw someone in this subreddit use it and decided to buy it for myself. If you buy this product, I advise you to not use the adhesive that comes with it
