And then it will be $100 cheaper in January. And then $100 cheaper than that in March. Then $100 cheaper than that in May.

Then you'll be here again in June saying that you don't want the 2022 model cuz the 2023 models are out, but you're waiting till BF when it's $100 cheaper.

Rinse and repeat.

The equivalent model of other retailers is A80K. Sony and many manufacturers create model number specific for club houses, so other retailers have reason not to pricematch

Never had to file a claim with them for a TV. However, I had to file a claim on my Sony RX10 IV camera back in March. It was purchased for $1599 from Amazon.com. I purchased the Allstate 4-year coverage for $170 at the same time. At the time I filed the claim, the 4-year plan had less than 1 year remaining. I called Allstate and explained the problem to them(the lens would extend but refused to focus, no matter what)

The camera was shipped to Allstate. Two days after it arrived at their facility, they called me and said that they would not repair it. Instead, they would send me a check for the purchase price shown on the original Amazon invoice($1599). The check arrived in about 4 or 5 days.

Needless to say, I was impressed. Unfortunately, I still have the $1599 and can't find a replacement camera. Sony somehow decided not to make a new updated version of this excellent camera and I didn't want to buy an identical RX10 IV.(it originally came out in 2017).

I got the A80J for $2500 last month, amazing picture quality but I am not very thrilled that it does not give you custom picture modes in the quick settings menu, it's either Vivid (burn your retinas bright and vivid) with smoothing enabled or the movie setting which is too brownish and too dark in my opinion, even with Dolby Bright, same thing. I had to adjust the settings of Vivid to make it less vivid and turn motion enhance to 1, now it looks really good, but every time I want soap opera effect I have to go back to settings and adjust. There is no "custom" option.
Otherwise 10/10 would buy again, the whole screen is a speaker, by the way, it's magical...

I might buy 2nd one 65" it's a good price, 55" is small for the price and 77 is still abit expensive.
I don't think there is any improvement from J to K, other than backlit remote.

This is just me but for $200 more I'd rather get the LG C2. I'm waiting for BF deals on the C2.
You can get the C2 for $2499 today…was countered that yesterday for the 77 no additional warranty but no tax/shipping

I will say this as a current C1 owner and previous 900h owner. I definitely miss the android tv and how snappy it is and good with inputs.

Is the 55" a good deal?
The 55" A80CJ could've been had for $1K not too long ago. IMHO, a much better deal than the A80CK at $1300

What's the improvement of A80K over J?
Per Rtings:
"The Sony A80K OLED and the Sony A80J OLED are extremely similar TVs with the same features. The A80K downgrades in a few areas, like the brightness, and the built-in speakers are worse. However, the A80K also has a wider 1080p VRR range. Overall, deciding between these two TVs comes down to which you can find for cheaper because they're so similar."

I know these Allstate warranties are included with a lot of Costco TVs but has anyone ever actually done a claim through one?

Have you tried a camera shop? Might be able to repair. It could be dirty. Have you reset it and all?
