If you mostly on wifi you should try to get a 7 day trial card, I paid $2 at target.
When I tried to upgrade the plan to $15 per month 4gb I was offered all 12 months for $45 not sure but maybe ymmv

Are you sure it wasn't three months for $45?

Yes depending when you left.
Chat with a rep and have them lookup your account and give you an answer in writing to be safe.

New customer only means that if you are an existing customer you can activate it but you won't be able to keep your old number. I really don't care about them giving me a new number everytime I use "new customer" deals. I've done it for 3-4 years without asking, I just activate myself. Plus, I open and received a forever Google voice number for free that family and friends have as back up. They just know the drill that my mint mobile will always be changing. 😅🤣

i suspect AT LEAST 90% of people do care about keeping their number though.

Yeah, buying it now but activating it two months later shouldn't be a problem.

You can keep your number. There is an option for porting in your existing number. This is mentioned and answered at least twice under the Q&A section on its BB's page

You can convert the sim to esim after activating. No need to insert the physical sim.

you'll need the activation code on the SIM card BB sends you but I think ypu have the option of eSIM after the code is enterred.

I been using mint for years but no more. The data speed is so bad in spots. Even when is connected to 5G is super slow. Even before I reach the data allowance Wich I never reach!!!
