Ouch. I bought this phone several weeks ago on the deal Amazon had for $209. For anyone considering the phone, there was a lot of prior discussion about how it will only be undated to Android 11. The phone I was using at the time was Android 8 so I was happy. Some people need the latest and greatest.

This Moto model works fine for me overall. The call volume seems to rise and fall but that may be the way I am holding it. I don't make or receive many calls so I'm fine. I guess the 5G does something since I see it most of the time at the top but, again, I am OK. My Internet connections are definitely faster than the phone I was using. The screen colors are nice as are the few pictures I have taken. Obviously, I am not someone totally immersed into being cellular active 24/7 so my take on the phone could be very different from someone else's.
This is a pretty nice phone for the price for someone who doesn't need a high end device but wants key features such as a headphone jack, SD Card support, some waterproofing (not as robust in that area as some modern phones though), a giant battery, and a 4K screen. The screen is LCD though rather than LED so it has a backlight. Another nice feature is a rear mounted fingerprint sensor rather than an on-screen sensor. These generally work better in my experience and are easier to find by feel without having to look where you are putting your finger.

It's a very similar device to the Samsung Galaxy A52, except that Motorola allows you to unlock your bootloader for rooting (I wish Samsung would fo that with all their devices).

This phone also has really great band coverage so you should be able to use it on just about any network in the US in most locations and get at least decent LTE service.
You gotta submit that complaint to Best Buy then. I'm sure they'll log it away with the other Karen suggestions. lol

Unless you need an unlocked 5G Android phone right now, the $40 Metro free phone deal seems like a better way to go and have an unlocked phone in 6 months for $40... This only supports n2, n25, n41, n5, n66, n71 5G bands, which is at the lower end.

Does this work on Visible 5g? From what I am seeing it only the UW version does 5g on Visible.

I believe that's correct, it won't work for 5g on Visible. And the UW version only comes with 4gb ram and 64gb storage.

Of course not, small difference, but 6gb is definitely better than 4gb

Okay option if you can manage with 64GB of storage, but it seems like 128GB is the new standard of need

nowhere close to this deal but thats also a decent deal if you are ok with that service and being locked to it for a year.
Also the wording is weird. "No-contract 1500 Talk, 1500 Text, 1500MB Data for 365 days Tracfone plan". Does that mean you have that to use for the entire year or per month? If its the entire year, its actually not a goo deal at all.

and 6gb vs 4gb ram. the extra two makes a huge difference with app lag.
