HP Laptop (Refurb): i5-1155G7, 17.3" FHD IPS, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD Expired

Yes I bought this same laptop and it has NVMe M.2 empty slot and I used my old NVMe M.2 in it and it worked straight. The 1 TB HDD that comes in this laptop is TOSHIBA brand it gets extremely hot which I can feel below the keyboard, so you plan to use NVMe + SSD 2.5 SATA too. I used Macrium Reflect free tool to clone the HDD OS partition to the NVMe I had and it works great.

This laptop is 100% brand new (tho it says refurbished), I have photos of inside motherboard but do not know how to upload here.

The laptop back side has Win 10 serial key, I upgraded to Win 11 and it works fine and super fast.

One memory is Samsung brand 4 GB DDR4 (1Rx16) and another memory is RAMAXEL brand 8 GB DDR4 (1Rx8)

HDD brand is Toshiba (spinning), very noisy, gets real hot, I could feel it my palm while typing in keyboard

WiFi supports 500 MBPs internet, not tested for 1GBPs as I don't have higher speed internet at home to test

This laptop comes with Win 10 OS pre installed and has Win 10 serial key (just print out sticker) pasted by the seller on the back side and I upgraded to Win 11 very easily and the HP Support Assistant app automatically installed all drivers. Took 2-3 hours and several restarts but worth it.

I installed NVMe M.2 SSD stick in the empty slot of this laptop (they gave 1 screw too to hold the stick) and cloned the OS partition from the Toshiba HDD using Macrium Reflect 8 free clone utility and it works flawlessly as it's cloning so no need of Windows serial key.

I am going to replace the HDD with SSD 2.5 SATA next week as my order is delayed at shipping

This laptop is as good as brand new and no traces of any usage or scratches or blemish, it came with brown color original regular branded box that has "HP Refurbished" (something like this, don't remember exactly),

17inch screen is bright and good as I compared it with my other Costco 2019 Thanksgiving bought HP 15.6 Touchscreen laptop and don't see any difference, I use external monitor anyway using the HDMI/USB KVM Switch (bought in AliExpress for $12) and use one keyboard and one wireless mouse for both these laptops.

Apologies if my English is bad, I am from another country and surviving here on a work visa and has strict budget for almost everything so looking for cost effective survival and hence this good laptop is a big deal to me.

I wanted to convey that this laptop comes with 1 TB Toshiba HDD (spinning) and very noisy and heat and this laptop has empty NVMe M.2 slot.
