I've heard that many Wen are made by generac. I know that the generac GP2200i for example has an exact copy with Wen branding . Personally I'll wait until we are well past hurricane season to strike on a better sale.

I had one of these for a while before upgrading to a 220v one. I wanna say Wen is louder than other brands but I never measured it. Other than that I've had 4 Wen generators and have had zero running issues

I am not sure how I will know what something like this can power? Ideally it should power the refrigerator and a portable A/C unit, but how do I figure out what kind I need?

Just run it ever so often for a hour or so until refrigerator compressor stops running. If you don't open the door a fridge will maintain temp for a while.
