I have one of these and confirm with the multitude of reviews stating that they do not spread evenly. Actually, due to the cheap wheel design, a lot of material spread gets trapped in the hollow wheels and leads to lines of grass where they have dressed heaver, and when the grass grows you will have stripped lines of grass that are much greener and taller than the rest. If you want your lawn to look like a zebra coat go ahead. Read the amazon reviews some have found funky workarounds like using cardboard or wood fill in the wheel cavity so the spread does not collect there.
