The Yen is dropping big time vs the dollar, so your exchange rate should be advantageous.

What's the best way to exchange USD to YEN? Is it better to do it now in America?

Speaking as a Japanese person here, Japanese people are extremely happy to see the interest in their culture, but please try your best to follow basic Japanese etiquette while in Japan. I'll be honest, seeing this post made me a little anxious because of how I've seen many Americans act (for those who are courteous and respectful, Japan loves you).

When I'm in Japan, I honestly feel really embarrassed by how some Americans act and treat Japan as if it's America...it isn't America. Let's try to respect Japan and how many Japanese live while we're there. If you already do so, thank you Smilie, if you're visiting for the first time, please read below!

What I've seen that bothers my friends and family the most are -

1. LOUDNESS in public spaces. Talking on the phone, playing music too loud (even if you have headphones on, if someone sitting next to you can hear it, it's rude), talking to friends/family even.
2. CLEANLINESS. Don't litter. There aren't as many trash bins, so try to hold your trash until you can find one.
3. ETC. Don't skip lines. Keep PDA to a minimum.

As a rule of thumb, just do what other people do and you'll be extremely welcome and find Japan to be the beautiful and amazing country that it is. Japanese people love Americans for the most part, so let's continue to give them good reason to like Americans and treat the country and people with a good level of respect.

Never traveled with Zipair but that price is definitely tempting.
Is it possible to visit other countries i.e China/Korea during the stay?
This would come out to be cheaper than booking a direct flight to those destinations.
China is still in lockdown to tourism.

I have seen many Japanese groups especially student or younger talking loudly in public in many countries.

I am not Japanese and I'm not trying to discredit your claim, but are you sure you are seeing Japanese talking loudly and not Chinese or some other asian race?

The post was talking about how to act in Japan.. Not how Japanese tourists act in other countries. I don't see how this is related at all, you sound bitter.

Just to make sure I'm reading this right, there are no cancellations if traveling from the US?

https://www.zipair.net/en/farerules#rule1

And not sure if I'm misunderstanding, but there are no meals on these flights except as an additional charge? Think I saw it was $80 for the standard upgrade. Will probably book something for March.
