Note that Kingston coupons generally don't work on sale price items.
I just bought the fury 2tb, so I don't need this drive, but I thought I would post the deal just in case you missed the 2tb kc3000 last time.
Just one of many fantastic reviews is @ tomshardware

Also S70 Blade, SN850 and Adata Premium were all once at $180, can't really go wrong with any of them.

980 Pro isn't any better tho, and from what I can remember still couple bucks higher than this at its lowest price. I'd take this any day over the Samsung.

It will work without a heatsink, and plenty of people have opted not to use one and they've been just fine, but it's always safer to get one. You can get a good one for less than $20. I got mine for $10. Almost no heat reaches the the secondary SSD port and the SSD can handle a decent amount of heat anyways, so you don't need anything fancy.
It doesn't technically need one to work. It's just safer with one.
