Yes I added $10 to my gift card balance though PayPal and they actually gave me $10 off so it cost me $0. I am not sure if the $10 off is a target promo but I signed up for the $5 off and received a confirmation it was active.

Sorry to hear that. Until this promotion, I have had the same problem for almost a year before google searches finally found this method that worked for me. I could never make any purchase in my account and would get the same exact error over and over with either Paypal and CC. So doing this method, manually removing Paypal from Starbucks account and Payal, then re-adding finally worked for me. Bummer that it didn't for you.

I did this in sept so I think it won't let me add this offer again.
