It seems like a rebranded Fitness Reality 810XLT rack that's popular on Amazon. I got it on sale for $200 and it was definitely worth the price. Its perfect for amateur weight lifting, and unless you're doing competing numbers, it's stable enough to handle a lot weight. The J-Hooks that come with this ProGear is way better than the stock Hooks that come with the Fitness Reality rack.

WIsh I got this to save $10 and another $30 to get after market J-Hooks.

I bought the Fitness Reality 810XLT rack back in April 2020 which this is just a rebrand of it and have loved it. I have 600 lbs on plate holders and I can do pull ups on it no prob. I see no signs of it giving in anywhere. It does wobble, but if you're lifting with controlled movement, I don't think its too much of an issue. I am using Yes4All J-Hooks and it has held 315lbs no problem.

I think this rack is the best entry level rack that will last you quite a long time, given that you can do all of the major compound lifts with this. It also has a pretty small footprint. I could see this easily being a buy it for life squat rack if you never intend on competing with weight lifting.

Wow. I got the exact model in July for 199. Now it's even lower.

I haven't set it up yet so can't say about the quality.

Anyone knows if the bench is good?

good no. adequate yes unless lifting really heavy. its light so easy to move around, but not as sturdy and stable as metal commercial benches. have both...

Do you need to attach this into the studs of the wall when you assemble it or is it fine just standing there freely?

It's freestanding.

Just an fyi though, if it's shipped to you the box can easily be damaged and you lose parts. I had it happen twice and it was tough trying to return the 2nd one to Walmart

I have this one, and the j hooks are ok, but I still upgraded them to the yes4all. These have no plastic on the back so you scrape the bar against a weld if you rack the bar all the way back against the hook. I still use them occasionally on the outside of the rack, but you're not really missing out.

I have this cage with the optional cable attachment. It is great for a home gym. I don't think I would trust it to hold 800 lbs, but I don't lift anywhere near that.

If this is truly a copy of the fitness reality rack, coop from garage gym reviews tested it. The safeties held and he was very impressed with the rack.

He still has it after a long while and he can't see himself giving it up, even though he has rigs like the rep fitness pr-5000.
